26 May Clay Court Sprinkler System

The Tennis Committee in discussion with RedPlus (who installed the court last year) have taken the decision to move from manually watering the clay court to automatically watering the court, three times a day for 10 minutes each time. The sprinkler will be switched on daily at the following times, 7.30am, 12pm, and 4pm. Performing this routine should keep the clay more moist and improve playing conditions. Members should note that playing times at 12pm and 4pm will be reduced to 50 minutes. Play can recommence immediately after the sprinkler has finished its work.

A laminated notice advising the same will be placed outside the Clay Court.
