Under the aegis of The Veterans’ Lawn Tennis Club of Ireland, founded in 1981, President Gerry Clarke – on next Monday, October 22nd, Carrickmines C&LTC will host an All Ireland Tennis Masters Tournament.

This will be the first event of its type and will have Clubs from Belfast, Cork and Dublin participating in Three Age Groups: 70+; 75+; 80+.

Veterans’ Tennis is a major part of the International tennis milieu and it
 is hoped that this will be the beginning of a major expansion of Veterans 
Tennis at Irish Club level.

All Tennis Courts have been booked from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. for the tournament.
