26 Feb Men’s League

After the round robin section of the league Carrickmines CC&LTC have 4 mens teams through to the playoffs. Teams 1,3,&4 have topped their respective groups. Team 2 tied top of their group with equal points and sets won but unfortunately come second as they lost the head to head match. The luck of the draw gives team 4 a bye into the next round and automatic promotion for next year. Congratulations to Aidan Doyle and all his team. Our objective now is to see the other 3 teams promoted and hopefully to win all 4 pennants. Team 5 finished the competition well and are secure in the league for next year. Team 6 had a difficult campaign, Many of their stalwarts and strong players were missing through injury and travel, making for a long an difficult competition.
